Feathers Shawl (knit) by Therese Chynoweth
Cascade Yarns ReSolve, color 03 Iguana
Embrace lace with two patterns that are fun to make & wear for summer.
The Feathers Shawl by Therese Chynoweth is available in two sizes & has a large eyelet pattern bordered with a nature-inspired lace motif. Detailed & well-written, the intermediate level piece is worked from the bottom-up in one piece.
It is knit in Cascade Yarns ReSolve, a beautiful, DK weight yarn spun from 100% recycled nylon & alpaca fibers. The yarn has a nice drape with a relaxed, casual finish.
Our feature crochet project this week is the Triple Petal Stole by Kristen Stoltzfus. Able to be worn as a wrap or scarf, the linear eyelet pattern is created using single crochet, double crochet & treble crochet stitches.
The Triple Petal Stole is crocheted in Cascade Yarns Pandamonium, a plied, DK weight blend of cotton & viscose from bamboo. The subtle sheen gives warm weather garments a clean, polished look. Durable & easy to care for, the yarn will last season after season.
