The Magic of Malabrigo

Dotty Cowl (crochet) by Elena Fedotova
Malabrigo Sock, colors 722 Fortaleza, 131 Sand Bank

Step into the yarn world of Malabrigo with the reversible Dotty Cowl, crocheted in Malabrigo Sock. Hand-dyed in South America, each hank of yarn is a one of a kind work of art with deep saturated colors.

This cowl is worked in the round and uses a reversible double-layer stitch pattern which results in a two-in-one piece for your accessory collection. The stitches are worked into two lower rounds at the same time, making it fun and interesting to work up. A light tonal & deep variegated colorway was chosen for a striking contrast.

For the knitters, the Morton cowl is a fun knit that explores texture. Simple & relaxing, the piece uses two different weights of yarn & slipped stitches to create a “woven” look. Again, a light tonal was paired with a rich variegated colorway to create the look.
