When you’re not texting, keep your fingers warm and toasty with these convertible, flip top mittens. Nice, easy pattern for flip-top mittens.
Mittens are worked in one piece in the round on double pointed needles, with a slightly tighter gauge to produce a sturdy fabric. Cuffs are worked in rib, then remainder of Mitten is worked in St st worked in rnds (k every rnd). Thumbs are placed to create a left and a right Mitten.
Contrast color thread or yarn is used to mark the position of the flip top.
Flip-top and thumb are worked onto completed Mitten.
