FERRAGOSTO Hat is a knitted summer hat that is reminiscent of a fabric bucket hat in its style and comfort. The hat is worked from the bottom up in the round in a dense linen stitch pattern. The decreases are seamlessly integrated into the pattern to ensure an even appearance. The Italian cast-on technique creates an attractive rounded edge. Alternatively, the hat can be cast on using the classic method. Five sizes ensure that an optimal fit can be selected. Each size is described separately in the instructions. The dimensions of the brim and crown can be adjusted as required.
Techniques
Italian or Classic cast-on, knit, purl, slip stitches with yarn in front /back, right/left leaning decreases, centered double decrease. The technique Italian cast-on is described step by step with photos.
